Mechanism

Tractors are made available through rental services via a hub model. Once entrepreneurs reach a critical threshold of 1200 acres pre-booked, Hello Tractor can underwrite them to become tractor owners so they can service demand directly.

Proof

Hello Tractor won the 2025 Africa Sustainable Futures Award for Agribusiness, presented by the Financial Times and World Bank Group.

This structure creates employment opportunities for local entrepreneurs who coordinate bookings within their communities and expands access to mechanisation where it is needed most.

Terra Vestis’ investment enabled Hello Tractor to accelerate strategic products designed to expand mechanisation access, including a pay-as-you-go tractor finance product.
